Stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights and I will just break it down into Pros and Cons. Pros: Amazing location. 2 minutes walk to Xi Men Ding station In the heart of Xi Men Ding. Lots to eat within the area. 7 minutes walk to the more stylish American St. Eslite and some other malls nearby. 1 train stop to Taipei Main Station which is an interchange for multiple train lines. Also convenient if you take the express rail from Tao Yuan airport. Hotel is on the 10th floor, the highest level of the building so the view is not bad. Hotel has free coffee, tea and water dispensers in the lobby which is really convenient. Cons: Cleanliness can be an issue. Don't get me wrong, the sheets, towels etc are fine. It's more of the stains on the walls, floors, windows. Shower doesn't have a door so most likely 60% of the bathroom would get wet. The bathroom has a floor to ceiling glass panel facing the sleeping quarters which has a frosted decal stuck on. This is fine but its strange that they left an entire horizontal strip of glass around waist level untouched. Meaning if a guy were to use the toilet bowl or if anyone were to take a dump, it would be quite a sight to behold. The floor squeaks with every footstep so if someone is a light sleeper, I suggest ear plugs or noise cancellation buds. The hotel is in a mixed business building so the 5th to 7th floor is a church, not sure how it will be on a Sunday. The 9th floor is actually a dance hall of sorts, so if you're in the hotel during the early to late afternoon you may be able to hear pretty loud music. Summary: Can't really complain as this hotel is value for money. The location is excellent indeed and if one can close one or two eyes about the stains, squeaky floor, wet bathroom and dance music from the level below, its worth considering.

We staid here for one night and that was too long. It was a dirty well worm room with lots of black mould in the bathroom. There’s a dance class downstairs and the music pumps from 9.00 to 10pm and this can be heard in the room. The shower has no door or curtain which meant the bathroom was always wet and dangerous. The bed sheets smelled clean but were stained. The light cable in the room was thick with dust. I recommend staying somewhere else as there are plenty of good places. See photos.

There’s nothing special about this hotel. The housekeeping staff is very rude to guests. The breakfast is not good. Room is dirty. If you’re a foreigner, book somewhere else. If you book via Agoda, make sure that they won’t give you the PWD room.

Stayed June 2018 PRO: - Very near Ximen station. Less than a minute walk. - Hotel quite easy to find. - Clean and spacious room. - Nice street view. - Kind staff. CON: - Videoke sounds heard all-day - No breakfast.

We booked this hotel because of the location and it was great. However it’s all downhill from there. The rooms are large but not very clean there’s visible hair on the floor. It has a old style thermostat inside the room however if you adjust the temperature every few minutes the thing would buzz with static noise which was unsettling. The most annoying part is that there is some sort of dance club for seniors apparently the level below. The music starts to blare at 9am in the morning and there’s almost no sound proofing! You can feel the room floor shake from the bass. This will go non stop until 9pm at night. So if you want to sleep in or go back to the hotel to rest before heading back out it’s probably not going to happen. It got so bad that after 2 nights of the 4 we booked we left and moved to a different hotel.
